Bolognese


I've been wanting to make some Bolognese for weeks. Since I now spend all my time at home anyway I thought it's the perfect time to make something which requires not that much work but a lot of time on the hob. Needless to say, it was delicious. Recipe adapted from this.

Easter

I had the most wonderful Easter this year. My friend Christa invited us all over for an Easter party with all of her neighbours. There was a barbecue, the company was great and the food was delicious. Also as the first real daytime drinking event it marked the beginning of spring in Oxford. That was just what I needed after weeks and weeks of being hidden behind my desk. 

I started my Easter with this little treat. I discovered the best little French patisserie up in Summertown. 
Then I put on some new Repettos that had been sitting in my wardrobe since December (so very shiny) and cycled over.
Burgers and Champagne. What a perfect Easter!
